A Mass Effect fan shows off an artwork of his girlfriend imagining what scientist Mordin would look like as a salamander.
The Mass Effect is considered by many to be one of the best RPG franchises to come out. The fast-paced third-person shooters were well-designed and provided tight gunplay as well as super destructive abilities. the original Mass Effect The trilogy combined an incredible story with great action, allowing players to save the galaxy from mass extinction.
One of the most memorable characters in Mass Effect is Mordin Solus. Mordin is a Salarian Scientist that players can recruit into Mass Effect 2 and is known for his eccentric personality. Mordin definitely stands out from the rest of the show’s cast and is a fan favorite among the crew members Commander Shepard can bring to their team.
A Redditor by the name of RaiNnIngRaPteRz posted some fan art their girlfriend pulled from Mass Effectit is Salamander bite. The artwork shows Mordin wearing the same outfit seen in the games while flashing a very big smile. According to RainnIngRaPteRz, the art was inspired by the Salarians having eaten bugs at one point, which led the user’s girlfriend to draw Mordin as an amphibian. It’s an interesting take on the character and it’s a nice piece featuring one of Mass Effect outstanding actors.
The work that RaiNnIngRaPteRz uploaded has gained a fanbase, with the drawing receiving over 1,000 upvotes. A number of fans find the work adorable, with one user stating the piece should be a sticker. One commenter mentioned that it was hard for them to say how much they liked the cartoon and asked RainnIngRaPteRz to post another one. Mass Effect an artwork that their girlfriend feels inspired to do, to which the Redditor agreed.
Mordin isn’t the only popular character from BioWare’s RPG series to have great art dedicated to him. A Reddit user known as Togira21 posted an image of a cross stitch he did with Tali from Mass Effect. According to the artist, it took them 177 hours over six months to complete the piece. For the pattern, Togira21 said they used a mobile app that creates a pattern from an image and then gives the exact colors to use. The user mentioned that he found the project relaxing and had already cross-stitched Mass Effect Garrus Vakarian. Tali’s cross stitch is both pretty and relaxing, capturing the character in beautiful light.
