Felicia Day launches a new Facebook fan page and reads from her book

Felicia day expanded its social media presence. The YouTube star and creator of the brainy video network Geek & Miscellaneous (belonging to Legendary Entertainment) created her official Facebook fan pageand posted her first music video, in which she reads an excerpt from her upcoming book You’re never weird on the internet (almost).

Day, who has more 1.2 million subscribers and over 160 million video views on YouTube channel Geek & Sundry, explains to his followers in his first Facebook video upload how the fan page will better enable him to provide them with exclusive content like clips and photos. Then, after explaining how she lost her voice at San Diego Comic-Con, Day manages to read a short excerpt from her upcoming memoir.

You’re never weird on the internet (almost)
was announced in December 2014. The Touchstone-published works will chronicle Day’s rise to internet fame, from the time she created her hit web series The guild because she was tired of being typecast at acting auditions. Day’s memoir will be published on August 11, 2015.
