Chris Pitcairn’s new fan art brings haute couture fashion to Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Wonder Woman and Catwoman. These looks are breathtaking.

Fans are always coming up with new graphics and costumes for Harley quinn, Poisonous sumac, cat woman, and Wonder woman. But a new series of fashion sketches by Chris Pitcairn takes it to the next level, featuring incredible high fashion costumes.

When it comes to high fashion, the great ladies of DC know a thing or two. Each of these fabulous women have had a number of stunning looks over the years, from runway ready to quick fashion, they always dress to impress. All four even had statues from the Couture de Force collection of Enesco. While these looks might not be official DC costumes, they do highlight the fashion sense fans have when it comes to their favorite comic book characters.

On Twitter, Chris Pitcairn shared fan art fashion sketches of some of DC’s iconic women: Harley Quinn, Wonder Woman, Poison Ivy, and Catwoman. Harley has her signature bat, which took galactic inspiration. Wonder Woman’s redesign incorporates Amazon’s armor and her iconic Lasso of Truth. Poison Ivy’s look sticks to its roots, incorporating flora. Catwoman also has a few feline touches that would give any viewer cat scratch fever, but allow her to fit in with any high society events that she enjoys breaking into.

Harley Quinn’s outfit incorporates several different elements of her look over the years. Harley’s dress has diamonds, accented with pearls and mesh. Her dyed pigtails were wrapped in cute messy buns, with a few loose strands framing her face. She has a pair of pointy gloves, complementing her diamond pattern. The diamond pattern continues, paired with hearts, on her face with facial accents and earrings in red and blue. Plus, she has bonus ruffles reflecting her pigtails, which drape over her frame. Wonder Woman’s outfit is asymmetrical, with an armored sleeve on her left arm and gold accents encircling it to the right. She wears a headband like the one worn by Gal Gadot in the DCEU. Her dress is reminiscent of a sleeveless Greek chiton with a deep V cut reaching down to the hips. His iconic golden eagle emblem ties the ensemble together, crossing his chest in its usual place.

Poison Ivy’s outfit places roses in her hair, as well as a bustle of roses on the back of her dress. One of the highlights of this elegant dress is the way it is teamed with satin gloves and accented with vines along her sides and arms. Poison Ivy is the epitome of a beautiful rose having thorns – especially with pink hairpieces that feature sharp tips. Catwoman loves to shop and spot targets at parties, so her outfit could easily be part of her work uniform in the early evening. She puts on a black dress with a slit, enhanced with a cat brooch. She also has her train attached to a silver wrist loop, hanging from her claw gloves. Catwoman accessorizes the set with a cute clutch bag, wide-brimmed hat, masquerade mask and, of course, pearls.

The four outfits are truly stunning; they excel at pointing out why each of these heroines and villains have become comedic fashion icons. Chris Pitcairn’s designs are stunning and use signature elements from each character’s fashion history to bring together all new high fashion outfits. Harley quinn, Poisonous sumac, cat woman, and Wonder woman are always ready to plot, steal or save the world and look good while doing it.
