Criticizing cricketer Manoj Tiwary, an Indian Premier League (IPL) fan page took a heavy toll after the post was noticed by drummer Susmita Roy’s wife. She not only slammed the page and the post, but her rampage also prompted the admin to delete the post.
In a now-deleted post, an Instagram page named “IPL freak” shared a list of India’s Flop XI. The list also included the name of Manoj Tiwary. It didn’t go well with Susmita, who criticized the post for incorrect facts.
“Who ever created this profile, how dare you put my husband’s name in there. You better check the facts. Do something in your crappy, pretty ugly life rather than post bullshit on people. Come on. seek a life, ”Susmita wrote in the comments.
Although Tiwary’s display of his talent in the Indian cricket team was exceptional, he did not have enough opportunities to play for the Indian team. Tiwary made his debut in 2008 and scored a century against the West Indies in December 2011 in Chennai. However, despite a winning strike, he was excluded from the Playing XI and did not play the next 14.
Tiwary had played a few seasons for the Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL and was also part of the Kings XI Punjab.
In his career, Tiwary has only played 12 games and scored a ton. He amassed 287 points with an average of 26. While in the T20I, he played three games and managed to score 15 points. He did not represent India in the test matches.
