Midnight Mass Star shares fan art asking for comic book adaptation

Mike Flanagan’s latest limited series hit Netflix last month, which means one of our favorite stars is currently thriving on social media. Midnight Mass is the second Flanagan series starring Rahul Kohli, who became “the Internet’s boyfriend” last year after playing Owen in The Haunting of Bly’s Mansion. Kohli has posted a lot of funny social media content since the show ended, including calling out some cringe-worthy reviews. In a new tweet, Kohli shared some fan art from Frankie Lennon, which inspired a great idea for more Midnight Mass content.

“Midnight Mass Comic When? 🎨: Frankie Lennon,” Kohli wrote. You can check out the fan art, which features Kohli’s Sheriff Hassan and Kate Siegel’s Erin Greene, below:

In addition to Kohli and Siegel, Midnight Mass stars Kristin Lehman (The slaughter), Samantha Sloyan (Grey’s Anatomy), Rahul Kohli (iZombie, the haunt of Bly Mansion), Annabeth Gish (West Wing, The Haunting of Hill House), Zach Gilford (Friday night lights), Hamish Linklater (The big court), Henri Thomas (AND, The Haunting of Hill House), and more. You can see a summary below:

Midnight Mass tells the story of a small, isolated island community whose existing divisions are amplified by the return of a disgraced young man (Gilford) and the arrival of a charismatic priest (Linklater). When Father Paul’s appearance on Crockett Island coincides with unexplained and seemingly miraculous events, a renewed religious fervor takes hold of the community – but do these miracles come at a price? “

Siegel recently spoke to ComicBook.com about the heavy topic of Midnight Mass.

“What I liked was that the writing was such a support in this system, because while I might not have the same beliefs as Erin, on the page it was very clear that her belief made sense to her, ”said Siegel. “I wasn’t asked to take logical leaps that I didn’t understand or tap into an emotionality that didn’t exist. And so there is this feeling that there are these huge epic questions, like ‘what is the meaning of life? happens when we die? Where were we before we were born? That everyone is grappling with and everyone has a really individual point of view on this. It’s rare to be able to express this, and so I was just, most of the time, merry on Christmas morning to have a chance to tap into consciousness. “

Midnight Mass is now streaming on Netflix.
