Artist BossLogic is revered on social media for the stunning fan art that has garnered him millions of followers. Some of his funniest works are the pieces that act as fan casts of pop culture characters from One Punch Man to Doctor Doom. In 2019, BossLogic released a wicked piece of fan art of Welsh actor Taron Egerton as a potential choice to play the next film version of Wolverine. Donning the classic blue and yellow jumpsuit commonly worn by Wolverine in comics and cartoons while maintaining a fierce look and a gnarled set of paws, the image paints a clear picture of what could very well be.
Fans have suspected Egerton to be Marvel’s next choice for the role for some time. However, it appears that the only cutting Egerton is doing is dispelling any suspicion about the veracity of the rumors. In a July 2022 interview on Today, the ‘Rocketman’ actor, when offered the chance to clear up the rumours, said, “I get asked a lot of questions about it, which is really flattering. But whenever I say something that doesn’t completely shut him down, he becomes ‘he does.'” When pushed further on this, Egerton replied playfully but firmly: ” I stop it.”
No matter who the next Wolverine is, we think it’s safe to confirm that BossLogic is the best at what it does.
