The sights and sounds of Retired Rangers No. 30

Henrik Lundqvist joins the immortals of Rangers history.

Like carly simon once serenaded us before “The Spy Who Loved Me,” we were reminded Friday night that no one does it better between the pipes at Madison Square Garden than Henrik Lundqvist.

In a poignant ceremony that included some of Rangers’ current best players gifting a bottle of victory, icons unveiling insanely expensive baggage and fans chanting his name until he couldn’t keep the smile on his face .

Hell, John freakin’ McEnroe gave him a gorgeous custom guitar painted by the guy who made his masks!

Here are some of the sights and sounds from Friday night’s big pre-game ceremony at MSG.
