Zsa Zsa Padilla has informed her followers that she has lost access to her official Facebook fan page as she has become the latest celebrity to be targeted by hackers.
The singer lamented how her Facebook account, which “took many years to build,” was hacked with “just one wrong click,” according to her Instagram page on Monday, November 21.
“Devastating Naman. Na-hack ‘yung official fan page on FB that my friend and admin, Cathy, has built over many years,” Padilla said. (It was devastating. My official Facebook fan page, which was started by my friend and administrator Cathy for many years, was hacked.)
Padilla added that in addition to his fan page, the hackers also targeted his vacation home rental’s social media account and his administrator’s personal page.
Padila then called out Facebook’s parent company Meta as she highlighted how it had become “so easy” for hackers to grab accounts.
“Why has it become so easy for hackers, Meta? Help!” she said.
Fellow celebrities Korina Sanchez, Ogie Alcasid and Kim Atienza have expressed hope that Padilla will regain access to her page, with Atienza recommending someone who can help the singer. VDE
